Devon O'70's members...a note from your captain Bob Macey

Dear O'70's members

As you probably know I am incapacitated at this time and consequently I shall miss the first few matches of the season. Tom Stanton has kindly agreed to take over as Captain, and he will select the team to represent the Devon O'70's side. I wish to add that if you are not selected for the first match, it does not mean that you have been forgotten.

We have a full season, and as you know at our age, there will be plenty of opportunities to play. Inevitably there will always be unavailability, and players will sustain injuries, so please continue to support the side and keep fit. It is our first season in the National Competition, so let us enjoy the summer and play some good cricket, and let's hope we can get back to normality in the coming months.

Best wishes for the season, and I look forward to getting back into the fold and catching up with you all.

Bob Macey
